Academic Games Championship

Students in grades 3–6 from Burton International Academy proudly represented their school at the 51st Michigan League of Academic Games Super Tournament, where they showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and strategic thinking against top competitors from across the region. Burton’s Academic Games team delivered an outstanding performance, earning numerous honors across several events. Their achievements include:

• 1st place — Elementary Division Onsets

• 1st place — Elementary Division Equations

• State Champion — Elementary Onsets

• CO State Champion — Elementary Equations

• 2nd place — Minor Division Onsets

• Two teams earned 3rd place — Elementary Division On Words

• Honorable Mention — Elementary Current Events

• 1st place — Regional Top 5

• 2nd place — Regional Team Average
